Keith Lucas joined the team of M.J. Macaluso & Associates after an impressive career at Princeton University where he graduated with honors and was a recipient of two major University Fellowships in addition to the Grace May Tilton Award in recognition of his outstanding thesis work in the Arts and Architecture.  Mr. Lucas also brought with him international experience through his employ with the Greek Ministry of Culture, where his hands on technical work with Byzantine monuments and immersion in modern foreign cultures has helped increase the breadth of design output from the studio he now directs.

Mr. Lucas is an avid international traveler and actively involved in the design community. Other interests involve sport (particularly European football), film, drawing, painting and the outdoors. Keith has developed a particular affinity for the East End of Long Island’s North Fork and its wine country where he is currently involved in development and real estate efforts.  His professional contributions extend beyond the studio to his positions on the Board of Directors for the Society of American Registered Architects, the Board of the Architect’s Council of New York and his involvement on the New York City Zoning Advisory Committee.  Outside of practice Keith is also dedicated to helping others through his Chairmanship of the New Horizons Development Committee for the Queens Centers for Progress along with service on other committees for the charitable organization.
